We convert minibuses for use as taxis or private hire vehicles. Our mechanics and auto electricians are expert in adapting vehicles for mobility, patient transport, luxury and specialist use.

We have extensive knowledge of government legislation, local authority requirements, and what drivers and operators need to safely transport people with disabilities .  

Our team of mechanics, engineers, and auto electricians undertake all kinds of vehicle conversions. As well as adapting vehicles for mobility, we enjoy luxury installations for executive work, and large-scale fleet conversions. For example, in November 2020 we were delighted win a contract to source, supply and convert 30 Ford Transits to a major cab firm.

Our vehicle conversions business has grown massively over recent years and our order book is bursting at the seams. To increase capacity we have relocated to a larger workshop. Who does your vehicle conversions?

We have our own team of coachbuilders, mechanics and auto electricians. All the work is done at our own in-house facility.

How much does wheelchair access cost?

It all depends on your requirements and those of your authority.
We will meet your expectations and Local Authority regulations as specified by you at point of order.

You may need rear – or side wheelchair access, for example.

Do you undertake conversions for outside customers?

Yes, we do work for people who have’nt brought from us — but it is subject to a vehicle survey. Give us a call 01525 717695. 

What parts do you use for your conversions?

We only use fully crash-tested components which have a certificate applied.

Is your work guaranteed?
Yes, all our conversions come with a full 12 month warranty.
What certificates do you offer on your conversions?

If we build the vehicle, and the council requires an IVA, this test and the certification can be provided on delivery.
Just ask a member of our team about the VOSA IVA scheme when you order your new vehicle.

How long does a conversion take?

This depends on what you require but normally between one to five days.

Is VAT included?

Yes, all our published prices include VAT. 

Can I trade in my old vehicle?

It’s very likely you’ll get the best price selling your vehicle privately. However, if you’d like to find out whether we will offer you a trade price, please call 01525 717 695.

Can you deliver to Northern Ireland?

I’m afraid not. We can deliver to any mainland UK port where you can pick up the vehicle. Or, if you fly into Luton, we will pick you up from the airport, collect your vehicle, and you can drive away. We’ll also provide a full tank of fuel.
